Background of Nonggar Samaj Unnayan Sangstha

Nonggar Samaj Unnayan Sangstha is a nonpolitical, non-profitable and non-government social development organization. In a national level there is an increasingly urgent need to have positive models that can demonstrate a viable, sustainable human and planetary future NONGGAR SAMAJ UNNAYAN SANGSTHA (NSUS) addresses this need, looking at sustainability in socially, economically and also in culturally.

NSUS  was established as a formal organization in 31 December 2001 with some dedicated same minded socially committed people for improving living standard of the poor & marginalized and vulnerable men, women & children. It's promoted and focused on human rights, education, child, women & disable development, environment, good

governance as well as on health.

Nonggar Samaj Unnayan Sangstha's target beneficiaries are poor and the disadvantage in the society constituting the bulk of the population specially destitute women & children, the physically disable and stigmatized and marginalized groups who are victims of rights and social injustice, transgender community. Beside also who are risks for the fatal disease, male population, fishermen, young people, and garments workers.

NSUS likes to facilitate various types of socio-economic development and right based activities for improvement quality of the poor & marginalized people in its projects areas. In line with NSUS gives emphasize to facilitate in planning and implementing all projects with active participation of target people (women, men and children) ensuring their rights with empowerment.

The summary of the NSUS objective is to attain the all round socio-economic development of poor, marginalized & disadvantage people specially women and children empowering them toward self-reliance undertaking Education (informal), Health, Natural Resource development, Human Rights and motivational Programs.
